Robert Austin

Robert Austin is an LPL Registered Sales Associate.

A member of our team since 2008, Robert trades our client portfolios, and in addition is our financial research and trading “nerd,” leaving no stone unturned in search of market, economic, and investment specific data for use in constructing our portfolios; where he and Rose work diligently to produce client portfolios we can be proud of.  In addition, he supports Rose and Abdul with client service needs. He holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through LPL Financial as well as a California Life & Health license (CA Insurance License # 0F38689). He is currently working towards Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Enrolled Agent (EA) designations.

Before working at Rose Greene Financial, Robert was a Financial Services Associate with Prudential Financial. There, he helped clients plan for retirement and estate continuation, long-term care needs, and also helped them manage their investments as well as plan for the funding of their children’s college education. In only a year and a half at Prudential Robert received several accolades but decided to move on because he felt a desire to offer more objectivity to clients, which Rose Greene Financial provides.

He graduated with honors from California State University Dominguez Hills, where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Robert and his wife live in North University Park near USC. You can frequently find Robert on his iMac creating movies of family events and holidays, other hobbies include reading, playing sports, and traveling; warm, tropical places being his favorite to visit.
