Robert Austin

Robert Austin is an LPL Registered Sales Associate. He attended California State University Dominguez Hills, where to he studied Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. Robert graduated with honors in 2006.

That same year; fresh out of college and beginning a new career, Robert became a Financial Services Associate with Prudential Financial. There, he helped clients plan for their retirement and estate continuation, long-term care needs, and also helped them manage their investments as well as plan for the funding of their children’s college education. In only a year and a half Robert received several accolades but felt a need to offer more objectivity to clients.

As the most multitasking member of our team, Robert’s responsibilities vary. He is our financial research “nerd,” leaving no stone unturned in search of market and economic data for use in constructing our portfolios; where he, Rose and Abdul work diligently to produce client portfolios we can be proud of. Robert also assists Helena with Insurance cases and helps craft the marketing messages our clients receive. In addition, he supports Abdul with client service needs. He holds Series 6, 63, and 65 securities registrations through LPL Financial as well as a California Life & Health license (CA Insurance License # 0F38689). He is currently studying for his Series 7 and plans to attain a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Robert and his wife Yvonne live near the University of Southern California in a 4-plex they purchased recently and where they hope to become more involved in the community and help gentrify the improving West Adams District. You can frequently find Robert in front of his Mac creating video slide shows from family events and holidays, other hobbies include playing competitive sports and traveling; warm, tropical places being his favorite to visit.
